So this is the entirety of my packing list. I feel like it’s not
that much, but really anything I forget I suppose I can just buy in
Korea. Does anyone who has been to Korea or anywhere outside of the US have any suggestions on what I
might miss while there?
Personally, I would say don't waste the space on bringing a pillow. To me, it was worth spending a bit of time and money on getting a pillow here in order to have the extra space in my suitcase. Same goes for comforter. Sheets, though, were a bit more of a pain in the butt for me. Bring those.
If you can get a decent adapter at home, I would say do so. It's very hit-and-miss here (in my experience). My general adapter doesn't stay plugged in, so I have to support it with random junk lying around. However, if you have something with a USB charger, there are USB to wall adapters for fairly cheap. Mine was ~7000 KRW and has worked solidly (without the need for support).
If you like to play cards, bring a deck or two. I haven't really seen them around here except in one or two places.
I don't know what your plan is for school supplies, but I would recommend getting those here rather than bringing them. You'll save space and they're fairly cheap.
As for where to buy the bed things: E-Mart or Home Plus. Don't bother with the department stores in Sinchon - they're super expensive. If you want directions to E-Mart from Sogang, just let me know~
